Tapysiy

Financial workflow done right.

Tapysiy team at work on financial workflow systems

Tapysiy started from a straightforward observation: most businesses in Navan and the wider Meath region were losing time - and real money - to fragmented financial processes. Spreadsheets that didn't talk to each other, approval chains that stalled on email, reconciliation that ate entire afternoons. The problem wasn't a lack of effort; it was a lack of structure.

Our work sits at the intersection of process design and financial operations. We look at how money moves through an organisation - from purchase order to payment, from invoice receipt to ledger entry - and we identify where the friction accumulates. Then we redesign those paths so they require less intervention, less chasing, and less correction after the fact.

Each engagement is specific to the client. We don't apply templates. A 12-person professional services firm has different bottlenecks than a 60-person product business, even if both describe their problem the same way. Getting that distinction right is where the actual work happens.

Team reviewing financial data and process improvements

Where the numbers speak plainly

Measured across active client engagements in Ireland.

Financial workflow optimisation is not a vague discipline. The improvements it produces show up in specific, trackable places: how many hours a week the finance team spends on manual reconciliation, how long the average invoice takes to move from receipt to payment, how often month-end close runs over its intended window.

These figures reflect what clients have measured after working with us - not projections or estimates, but observations from their own reporting.

8–14 hrs
Weekly time recovered per finance team member
Across reconciliation, approval chasing, and manual data entry - measured over a 90-day period post-engagement.
3 days
Average invoice cycle reduction
From receipt to ledger entry, before vs. after process redesign.
Month-end
Close window restored to schedule
Clients previously running 4–6 days over target.
1:1
Dedicated specialist per client
No shared account managers - one specialist owns each engagement fully.
6 weeks
Typical time to first measurable change
Process redesign, documentation, and initial adoption period included.

The people behind the work

Small by design. Each specialist at Tapysiy carries a limited number of client engagements at any time - because depth of attention is what makes the difference between a report and a real change.

Focuses on how financial tools connect - or fail to. Identifies where data handoffs introduce errors and where automation is genuinely worth the setup cost.

How an engagement works

  1. Initial process audit

We map the current state - who does what, in which system, and where the handoffs happen. No assumptions, just observation.

  2. Friction identification

We locate the specific points where time is lost, errors accumulate, or decisions stall. Each one is documented with context, not just flagged.

  3. Redesign and adoption

New process paths are designed around the team's actual tools and capacity - then introduced gradually, with clear checkpoints rather than a single cutover.

Starting with a specific problem, not a general pitch

Most conversations begin when someone on the finance team has already identified something that isn't working - a process that takes too long, a report that requires too much manual preparation, a month-end that keeps slipping. That's the right starting point. We work from the specific outward, not from a service menu inward.

Confidentiality is not a policy statement here - it's a practical requirement. The details of a client's financial operations are sensitive, and the people we work with need to be candid about what's broken. That candour only happens when there's genuine discretion on our side.
